Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Velox PDF (the “App”) and this website. By purchasing or using Velox PDF, you agree to them.

1. The license

Velox PDF is licensed, not sold, to you for use on Macs you own or control. A Monthly plan grants a license for as long as your subscription is active. A Lifetimelicense grants a perpetual license to the version of the App current at time of purchase and all future updates, for one person’s personal or business use.

2. Free trial

The Monthly plan includes a 14-day free trial starting at checkout. A payment method is required to start the trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, you’ll be charged the then-current monthly price and billed automatically each month until you cancel.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your Monthly subscription at any time using the link in your receipt or confirmation email. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period except as described in our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App, and don’t share a purchased license across more people than it was purchased for. Reasonable personal use across your own Macs is fine.

5. The AI assistant

The built-in AI assistant is optional and requires your own API key for a third-party model provider. Your use of that provider is subject to its own terms; we don’t control, and aren’t responsible for, its output.

6. No warranty

The App is provided “as is.” We work to keep it reliable, but we don’t warrant it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep backups of anything important, the same way you would with any document-editing software.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
