Velox PDF is built around a simple idea: your documents are yours. This page explains exactly what does and doesn’t leave your Mac.

What stays on your Mac

Every PDF you open, and every annotation, drawing, or signature you add, is stored and processed entirely on your device. Nothing about your documents is uploaded to us, ever.

What the AI assistant sends

If you use the optional AI assistant, the specific page or text you ask about is sent to the model provider you’ve configured, using your own API key. We never see this traffic — it goes directly from your Mac to your chosen provider. Nothing is sent unless you actively ask a question.

What this website collects

This site doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. When you buy a subscription or license, payment is handled entirely by Stripe, which collects your payment details and billing email directly — we receive only your email address, purchase type, and payment status, so we can respond to support requests.

What we don’t have

• No account system, no password, no user database.
• No copy of your PDFs or their contents.
• No advertising or tracking cookies.
